About the role
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will craft and manage engaging content, coordinate timelines, collaborate with speakers, and strategically distribute content across channels. Be the storyteller, shaping event narratives and driving audience engagement.
Three main accountabilities:
·Content Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the goals and themes of events. Create engaging and relevant content plans that resonate with the target audience and drive interest in attending or participating in events.
·Content Creation and Distribution: Oversee the creation of compelling and diverse content across various channels, including websites, blogs, social media, and promotional materials. Ensure consistency in messaging and branding while utilising storytelling techniques to captivate the audience.
·Performance Analysis and Optimisation: Utilise analytics tools to measure the performance of content marketing efforts. Analyse data and feedback to refine content strategies, optimise distribution channels, and enhance engagement metrics. Continuously improve content based on insights to meet event objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Content Focus:
- Develop, curate, and manage event-related content, including promotional materials, speaker bios, abstracts, news hub, and articles.
- Work within defined timelines, coordinating content creation leading up to, during, and after events.
- Storytelling and Branding:
- Craft and convey the event's story, ensuring content aligns with themes, main stage, breakouts, and brand voice.
- Content Distribution:
- Determine effective channels for distributing event content, such as websites, social media, email newsletters, and PR partners.
- Audience Engagement:
- Engage potential attendees through compelling, interactive, and multimedia content.
- Speaker and Program Content:
- Collaborate with speakers to develop content aligning with event messaging and goals.
- Content Calendar Management:
- Manage event-specific content calendars, scheduling releases to build anticipation and maintain interest.
- Feeback and Optimisation:
- Analyse feedback to optimise future content strategies for events.
- Collaboration with Marketing Team:
- Work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.
- SEO for Event Content:
- Optimize event content for search engines to improve visibility.
- Post-Event Content Strategy
- Develop post-event content, summaries, highlights, and teasers for future events.
- Live Content Creation:
- Create real-time content during events, such as live-tweeting, streaming, and live updates.
