Salary: up to £27,000 plus a profit share £5k - £10k
Location: Central London, x2 days per week
ZMedia is looking for a Graduate Conference Producer to join a world leading events and conferences business. With 30 events running per year in Europe, South America and Asia, the role offers scope for international travel, off-site meetings and collaboration with international military and defence industry executives.
The Conference Producer is at the heart of what they do. You will identify topics through in-depth market research, write and produce a commercially viable conference agenda that offers excellent relationship building, knowledge transfer and business development opportunities for delegates, sponsors and speakers. Becoming a Subject Matter Expert, project managing, and fostering strong relationships is key to the role. You will work on Stage 1 and Large Scale Events but also be targeted on establishing launch products with the support and guidance of the Divisional Director.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive research, keeping abreast of trends and current affairs and gaining industry insights by staying in close contact with this community
- Strategy and project management
- Copywriting and structuring conference agendas
- Inviting senior personnel from the Defence sector, Government and Military to speak
- Delivering marketing strategies, formulating marketing copy, forging media partnerships
- Working closely with and briefing the delegate and sponsorship sales team, directing and supporting them throughout each campaign
- Working closely with clients- speakers, sponsors and delegates, to ensure the smooth running of events from product development through to onsite delivery
- Ensuring that conferences run to schedule and within budget
- Public speaking- opening the conference and addressing a large audience of attendees
Requirements
